Welcome to another eventful year with the Houston Maharashtra Mandal (HMM). Your 2012 HMM Committee would like to invite you to our very first event for 2012, Makar Sankrant Food and Fun Fest.

Event Details:
- 'Haldi-Kunku' program for ladies and distribution of tilgool at the registration desk. Marathi 2012 Kaalnirnay will also be distributed (one for each family).
- Maharashtrian/Indian Food Festival : Entries for food and other stalls are invited from interested participants; please check Stall Registration details below.
- Fun Fair for kids, teens and people of all ages.
- 'Bor Nahaan' for children under age five (5) years.
Stall Registration:
Community participation through the sale of Maharashtrian/Indian cuisine at the
food stalls is invited. Sale of apparel, jewelry etc. at this event will add to
shoppers’ delight and applications for these stalls are also invited. For those
pursuing a commercial venture, this event will provide an excellent marketing
opportunity for your products.

Please note that readymade (store bought) food items will not be permitted; food stalls are restricted to ‘home-cooked’ food (except for commercial vendors). Also, no cooking is allowed in the hall.
The number of stalls is limited; preference will be given to current HMM members. Please refer the application form for more details.

Completed forms and the application fees should reach us no later than 13th of January, 2012.
